Drainforce are committed to continually improving our environmental performance, aiming to deliver our services in the most sustainable way, which as a minimum, is compliant with environmental drivers.

Describing our approach.

We constantly strive to strike the right balance between delivering services to our clients and customers and also managing our business responsibly, including our environmental impact.



Our commitment to the environment and wider sustainability is included in our company business plan, we strive to limit our impact on the environment and achieve socially responsible and a sustainable business.

To do this we will:

• Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and drive for more sustainable solutions to the services we provide.
  
• Protect and enhance biodiversity through continued investment.
  
• Sustainably manage our waste to landfill, minimising wastage recycling to achieve our company objective of Zero Waste to Landfill.
  
• Manage our carbon emissions through optimisation and innovation of our current and new processes. (please see our carbon foot print calculator for UV lining against excavation on rail).
• We will do the right thing for the environment and this is the responsibility of everyone in Drainforce. We will make employees aware of our policies and, where appropriate, provide training to help us continually improve our environmental performance.
•  We will review and update our policies on a regular basis tracking performance and actions to achieve our Environment and Sustainability objectives.
  

Drainforce overall responsibility for the formulation and implementation of the policy

Drainforce Directors have overall responsibility for the formulation of the policy chaired by Drainforce Group Managing Director, each Director has responsibility for implementation of the policy. Compliance and implementation is monitored by Drainforce Group Managing Director to ensure the policy is implemented consistently across Drainforce.
